Lehigh Valley Ironpigs Game Details

Hey everyone,

The MYO will be sponsoring a trip to the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs Game at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, PA on Tuesday, August 11th, at 7:05 P.M. Tickets are 9$ for anyone above 21, and no admission for those 21 and under. You must provide your own transportation. If you need directions to the park, contact me at ace61292@hotmail.com. The Pigs will be playing the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds affiliate) that night. We will be seated along the Third Base line behind the Ironpigs dugout. Section 119, Rows K and Up until we seat the first 50 people. The first 50 go. First come, first serve, and tickets are going, going, almost gone! As for money, you can give it to me directly, or Peter Koorie, or Rhonda if and when you see us.

DUE TO THE RECENT DEATH OF JOSIE MELHEM WE WILL BE RESCHEDULING THE CAMEL BEACH TRIP. WE DECIDED THAT THIS WOULD BE THE BEST DECISION AND MOST ACCOMODATING TO MOST OF THE PEOPLE GOING ON THIS TRIP. JOSIE HAS A MASSIVE FAMILY AND WE WOULD LIKE TO RESPECT THE FACT THAT THEY NEED THAT DAY TO BE AT THE FUNERAL. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE!!

WE WERE GOING TO RESCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY BUT THERE IS A 30-50 % CHANCE OF RAIN. THE TRIP WILL BE RESCHEDULED UNTIL MONDAY. BUSES WILL NOW LEAVE AT 8:45 AND LEAVE THE BEACH AT 6:45. MONDAY STARTS THE PARKS NEW HOURS THAT OPEN EARLIER AND CLOSE LATER. I KNOW THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE PERFECT FOR EVERYONE BUT THIS IS THE BEST DECISION WE CAME UP WITH. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL WE UNDERSTAND PLEASE CONTACT PETER KOORIE OR RHONDA ELIAS IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN MAKE PROPER ARRANGEMENTS. LET US KNOW EITHER WAY WHETHER YOU ARE MAKING IT OR NOT AND THAT YOU HAVE RECIEVED THIS MESSAGE. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! WE ARE DOING OUR BEST TO CONTACT EVERYONE.

Christmas Party and Play Update.

1) All children who are interested in participating in the Christmas play
this year are asked to attend a meeting to pick parts for the play on
Monday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the church hall. You MUST ATTEND this
meeting in order to have a part in the play. Also anyone who is interested
in helping out with costumes and play practice is also asked to attend.
Practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays until Christmas Eve at 6:00
unless otherwise noted. If you have any questions please contact Rhonda
Elias @ 610-905-0050.

2) We will be setting up for the Xmas party on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. the day
of the party 12/6/08. Anyone who would like to help decorate is asked to
come at this time. They will also be needing help in the kitchen if you
would like to assist in there.

Halloween Party Details & Contact Information

The MYO will be hosting its annual Halloween Party this year on Saturday
November 1, 2008. The party will be held from 6-10 p.m. in the church hall.
There will be food, games, a haunted house, prizes, and music provided by DJ
Fly Guy. The charge for adults over 18 years of age will be $5, children
from 6-17 years of age will be $3 and children under 5 years of age are
free. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation Please

MYO Pool Party Information

The MYO will be hosting it's annual Pool Party on July 14, 2008, at Palmer Pool. Palmer Pool is located on Briarcliff Terrance Park Road in Easton, PA. The event will begin at 7:00 and will end at 10:00. Admission is free, and entertainment will be provided by DJ Fly Guy. There will be refreshments. May Crowning Volunteer Information.

All those interested in helping out with the May Crowning, after the liturgy on Saturday May 10, 2008, at 6:00, the MYO and the St. Theresa Sodality will begin preparations for the ceremony which will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Anyone interested in helping is urged to attend.

Cross bridge and watch for PA 487 south to bear right up incline

PA 487 South for 6 miles and turn left at the light into Knoebels

Knoebels 2008: Bus Trip Details & Contact Information

Cost: $10.00

The MYO is sponsoring a bus trip to Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA. The buses will depart from the Wal-Mart parking lot on Route 248 at 7:45 a.m. and will depart Knoebels at 6:30 p.m. The MYO will provide pizza from Easton Baking Co., snacks, and beverages. A tee shirt will be distributed to everyone prior to the trip. The MYO requests everyone to wear the tee shirt the day of the trip. Knoebels is America’s largest free admission park. The only other cost is the ride ticket. Pavilion Q is reserved for the day. There are a limited number of seats available and the MYO requests payment at the time of reservation. The deadline for reservations is Sunday, May 25, 2008. Please contact Rhonda Elias at 610-905-0050 or Peter Koorie at 610-258-5798 by May 19, 2008 if you would like to sponsor the tee shirts.

Our Lady of Lebanon M.Y.O members,

This is a new site organized by the M.Y.O in order to keep everyone up to date on news, events, and contacts for the M.Y.O. There is only so much that we can fit in the parish's weekly bulletin, and many times people need information that may not see the bulletin or be able to attend our meetings. This is a solution that hopefully will benefit this organization, and make updates available to everybody as soon as the organization makes decisions. We understand there is no substitute for word of mouth, and people seeing each other and spreading the word. But it is not always reliable. Hopefully this site makes all information accessible around the clock to whoever needs it. There will be new posts soon covering our events, and giving details. So stay tuned!
